Baseball Contracts 2009

Every year baseball teams scramble to secure contracts for new players as older player's contracts expire. Those players who have fulfilled six years of service in a league are eligible to become free agents, and may negotiate entirely new and lucrative baseball contracts. 2009 saw free agent players sign on for hefty contracts, ans many players also had contracts renewed or extended. In the world of baseball contracts, agents usually negotiate contract terms for players in order to ensure that players receive beneficial contracts. Agents may negotiate salary requirements, signing bonuses, and other specific requirements at the request of a baseball player. Contracts may include as few or as many stipulations as players can get away with. Some contracts are very simple, while others may be incredibly detailed, even in some cases designating which number the player will be assigned and what type of hotel he wants to stay in for away games.
